Ornge in Action
Care, Collaboration, and Critical Transport

An evening you will not want to miss!

KEYNOTE ADDRESS
Have you ever wondered what happens behind the scenes after requesting a patient transfer through Ornge? Dispatchers, physicians, paramedics, and pilots coordinate to launch timely ambulance responses, often bringing critical care to patients located miles away from tertiary care centres.

In her presentation, Amanda Brennan, Associate General Counsel at Ornge, will take us behind the scenes to explore how air ambulance services operate. She will explain how ambulance services are regulated and highlight the critical inter-professional collaboration between physicians and paramedics, showing how these professionals work together to provide high-quality care in the air.
