Clinic to Courtroom: Assisted Reproductive Technologies and Risk
Assisted reproductive technologies are advancing rapidly — and so are the legal risks that follow

April 22, 2026 | 5:30 – 7:00 PM | Live Webinar

Dr. Marjorie Dixon of Anova Fertility, Shirley Levitan of Shirley Eve Levitan Family & Fertility Law, and Shanti Barclay of Zarek Taylor Grossman Hanrahan LLP will join together for a multidisciplinary panel bringing expertise in family law, tort law, and reproductive endocrinology. This practical discussion is tailored for medical and legal professionals and will be moderated by Suzanne Clarke and Sonya Katrycz of Zarek Taylor Grossman Hanrahan LLP.

Join a multidisciplinary panel featuring perspectives from family law, tort law, and reproductive endocrinology for a practical discussion designed for both medical and legal professionals.

This session will explore:

  • The science and process behind fertility treatments
  • Where and how issues can occur in the handling of sperm, eggs, and embryos; and
  • How the courts are assessing damages when these risks materialize.

This is an essential conversation at the intersection of medicine and law.

This program qualifies for 1.5 hours of substantive CPD credits.
