The Medico-Legal Society of Toronto (MLST) was founded in 1950 by a group of physicians and lawyers. The purpose of the MLST has always been to promote medical, legal, and scientific knowledge and to encourage cooperation and understanding between the professions in the interests of justice, patients, and clients.
