This is the third program arising out of the Medico-Legal Report 2021. In the first two programs, participants were introduced to the main topics of the Report and saw a trial demonstration of the pitfalls of the qualification of the expert witness in a simulated action in the Superior Court of Justice. In this program, the MLST presents a follow up on the teaching points of the first two program by presenting the expert evidence of a witness who testifies before the Licence Appeal Tribunal on a catastrophic injury claim.

This program is eligible for up to 1 Substantive Hour LSO CPD Credit; and eligible for Section 1 (Group Learning - Unaccredited Group Learning Activities) CPD credits (0.5 credits per hour) for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada’s Maintenance of Certification Program OR Category 1 (Group Learning - Non-Certified Activities) CPD credits (1 credit per hour) for the College of Family Physicians of Canada’s Maintenance of Proficiency Program.

Cancellation Policy: For cancellations one (1) week or more in advance, delegates will receive a 75% refund. For cancellations made less than one (1) week in advance, no refunds are given. Delegate substitutions is accepted at no cost.
