TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE OF SITE

This web site ("Site") is provided by the Medico-Legal Society of Toronto ("Society") conditional on your acceptance of the terms and conditions of use set out below ("Terms and Conditions"). By accessing, reading and making use of this Site, you agree, on your own behalf and on behalf of any entity on whose behalf you may be acting, to be bound by the Terms and Conditions. PRIVACY POLICY

The Medico-Legal Society of Toronto (MLST) is committed to protecting the privacy of the personal information of its members, employees, and persons whom we partner with for business purposes. We value the trust that these individuals place in us and recognize that in order to maintain this trust we must be transparent and accountable in the way in which we treat the information that they choose to share with us.

The MLST is aware of and will adhere to all legislative requirements, such as the federal Personal Information and Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), and the ten principles of the Model Code that were developed by the Canadian Standards Association - accountability, identifying purpose, consent, limiting collection, limiting use, disclosure and retention, accuracy, safeguards, openness, individual access and challenging compliance.

The MLST is aware of its responsibility to keep up to date on provincial and federal legislation, as well as any policies, rules and regulations that effect the MLST and its members.

CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The Society may add to or remove, modify or otherwise change any part of the Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective when the changed Terms and Conditions are posted on this Site. You should check the Terms and Conditions frequently for changes. If any change to the Terms and Conditions is not acceptable to you, you should discontinue your use of this Site immediately. Your continued use of this Site after changes to the Terms and Conditions are posted thereon will constitute acceptance of the changes.
